NEW RADIO STATION
Good progress has been mado with preparatory work on the section in Durham Street, where tlio now commercial radio station is to bo built. Much excavation has been necessary to lower the upper 'end of the lot and align it with the street level. Tho new IZB building will be on a section having an area of 31.9 perches, a street frontage of 139 ft., and a dept of Gift., the estimated cost of the promises being in tho neighbourhood of £70,000. The excavation work will continue after tho holidays.
