AIMS IN EUROPE TERRITORIAL EXPANSION REVEALING STATEMENT By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received November 23, 7.30 p.m.) PARIS, Nov. 23 The Paris Soir has published what is claimed to be the first official statement of Germany's war aims, contained in a booklet of instructions to proNazi orators and Black Guard instructors. The statement is signed by Johannes Hering, of the Nazi propaganda department. Tho aims are: — "Firstly, to secure all arablo land necessary, in order to avoid in future a permanent blockade. "Secondly, in the same way as Germany seized the Polish coal, oil and ore, Germany will be able, thanks to Hitler's genius, to acquire, in tho very near future, the riches of Belgium, Holland and Northern France. "Lastly, subject races must b«i treated without sentimental scruples. Their cultural autonomy must be destroyed to oust the idea of revenge." The book]et adds that half a century hence the pure German race will number 100,000,000. Racial and linguistic frontiers must be re-established, but not those of 1914. Germany must hold the mouth of tho Danube, Mount Lovchen, in old Serbia (an Adriatic outlet), and the present Rumania. The statement concludes:—"lf we do not possess the Flemish coast and hinterland, it is clear that the British Fleet will paralyse our navigation."
BOMBERS FOR RUMANIA 36 BRITISH MACHINES DELIVERY IN PAST WEEK LONDON. Nov. 23 Britain has been able to deliver to Rumania by air in the past week 36 Blenheim bombers for the Rumanian Air Force. They were flown over by Rumanian pilots in three consignments. They will be used for three squadrons of the force.
COMMUNISTS INTERNED GERMANS IN HOLLAND (Received November 23, 7.15 p.m.) LONDON. Nov. 23 The Dutch police have arrested and interned six former members of the German Communist Party, who were accused of underground activities against Germany, says the Amsterdam corespondent of the Daily Telegraph. This was regarded as a breach of Holland's neutrality.
GOEBBELS REPLACED EXTERNAL PROPAGANDA PARIS, Nov. 22 The Paris Soir states that von Ribbentrop, Nazi Foreign Minister, has taken over external propaganda services from Goebbels. FARMERS PROTEST DANISH EXPORT PRICES 1 (Received November 23, 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 23 Three thousand farmers met to protest against the Government's abandonment of the sterling basis for currency, says the Copenhagen correspondent of the Times. They declared that butter cost 3.72 kroner to produce, while farmers received 2.36 kroner for export to Britain. TWO MEN RECAPTURED (Received November 23, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 22 The remaining two of the four German sailors who escaped froifl a Scottish internment camp have been recaptured.
