CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION
MANAGER'S CONFIDENCE [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION J WELLINGTON, Thursday "The show Trill go," said the general manager of the Centennial Exhibition Company, Mr. C. P. Hamsworth, reviewing the first two weeks. He said that although every possible factor seemed to hare operated against tho promoters, all the major difficulties had been overcome and the exhibition had defmite|y "taken on" with the public. "If we had had better weather we would have had a remarkable story to tell of tho opening fortnight," Mr. Hamsworth said, "but even with the adverse conditions that prevailed the reputation of the exhibition as a national spectacle of unusual magnitude has already been spread throughout New Zealand, and we feel that success is assured."
