EXTENSION WORK

COMBINED CLUB NIGHT Members from the three extension centres of tho Young Women's Christian Association met for tho first time in the Central Club for the purpose of holding a combined club night to mark the last event of the indoor season. Members demonstrated exercises such as are performed at the regular weekly meetings under the leadership of Miss P. Bates, Avondale and Onehunga senior branches; Miss P. Levesque and Miss .f. Mitchell. Point Chevalier; Miss M. Williams, Avondnlc juniors; Miss F. Baird. Onehunga; Miss G. Blott. Point Chevalier. These leaders had been trained by Mrs. J. P. Morris, who judged the games and relays. The Onehunga representative was tho winner of the junior games, and Point Chevalier and Avondale of the senior games. An original! song .competition was won by the Onehunga seniors. The judge was Mrs. It. 8.. Wilson. Club members and visitors were welcomed by Mrs. M. Rudd, president of the Y.W.C.A. The evening concluded with dancing and supper.
