New Miniature Club
The formation of a new amateur cinematograph club in the city under the title of the Auckland Cine Players, has been announced. Designed to encourage film work among the Jay section of enthusiasts, the new club has adopted a set of rules which provide for the making of a number ©f films each year, the scenarios for which will be" written by members. . The president, Mr. 11. S. Lediard, is nt present engaged in the production of the club's first opus, the comedy film, "Love Finds a Way," which is now almost completed. The cast are all members of the club, and the setting is in and around the city. It is proposed to exchange the finished photoplav with, others from similar organisations in the United States and Great Britain, and regular meetings for viewing these films will bo held during the year.
