Plan of Gears
It is sometimes difficult for learnerdrivers to memorise the gear-lever positions in the early stages oj their tuition, a trouble that can be eased by tracing the gear position diagram given in the instruction book on to a piece of semi-transparent paper with indian ink, which is stuck in a convenient position on the inside of the screen. If the original is rather small, it should be copied so that the diagram is about 2Yi in. across.
