BRITISH SAILORS' SOCIETY

Considerable progress in the society's activities was reported by workers at ihe annual meeting of the British Sailors' Society held in the Sailors' Mission Hall. There was a good attendance of members and friends. It was reported that regular visits to ships had been made throughout the year, and the junior department of the society had maintained contact with the younger men of the Navy. Sailors of many different nationalties visited the society's rooms, and community singing proved very popular. An enjoyable musical programme was presented during the evening, the president.
