BURGLARY AT TIRAU
[from OCR OWN correspondf.nt] PUTARURU. Thursday A general store at Tirau, owned by Mr. D. McL. Adamson. was entered during the week-end and about 7s in copper, some soft drinks, sweets and four tins of cigarettes removed. Kutranee was gained by forcing a lock on the back door, while a lock on the parage door had also been forced off. The top of the cash register was burst open and the pennies removed, the machine being lel't in the yard.
