Coop, a graduate of Canterbury University College, who re? centlv returned to New Zealand after' carrying out advanced study in physical chemistry at Oxford and in bio-chemistry at Cambridge, has been appointed to the plant chemistry section" of the Plant Research Bureau, Palmers-, ton North. Mr. R. B. Sibson, M.A., who was lately appointed classics master at King's College, ha&jarrived from England. Mr. Sibson was educated at King's School, Rochester, and at University College, Oxford, where he took honours and the diploma in education, and was awarded the Conington Greek Prize, also representing his col-. lege at football and athletics. He has had some years of teaching experience - in English 'schools, and is a member of the British Trust for Ornithology.
