Air-raid precaution measures are diligently supported by Jews and Arabs alike, and both races uncomplainingly abide by tho wartime regulations controlling the prices of food, fuel, and other essential commodities. The treaty with Turkey has been hailed by tho Arab press as a brilliant diplomatic success, and relief is felt at tho check of possible German intrigues at tho expense of Arab countries. The absence of local political disputes or disorders is a notable feature of wartime conditions, in Palestine. Tho Arabs remain solidly behind the British Government.
