INDIAN FASCISTS

MOSLEM HIERARCHY "SAGE OF THE EAST" 400,000 FOLLOWERS / LONDON, Aug. 18 In order to restore the Moslem world's hegemony a Fascist movement is spreading in India, says the Daily Telegraph's Bombay correspondent. The followers of the movement aro called "IChaksars" and already, it is claimed, number 400,000. .They consist of military formations of sturdy youths, bearing spades instead of rifles and implicitly obeying their founder and leader, who is known as "The Sage of the East." Ho is Allama Mashriqi, who was director of education in the North-West Frontier province in 1930 under his real, name, Inayatullah Khan. He had a brilliant career at Oxford. To-day this man heads an elaborate hierarchy, including provincial commanders and village leaders who have signed in their own blood a pledge as follows:—"I solemnly promise to sacrifice my life at the leader's order. I deserve to descend to hell if I disobey him. l " The "Khaksars" are forbidden to attend public amusements and, in dedicating themselves to "establish world hegemony," to remember that the Moslems "ruled the world for 1000 years because they were bravo and obedient and expert swordsmen." The movement has spread to Afghanistan, Iran and Irak.
