LADY FINDLAY [BV TKLF.CnATIl —OWN COnRKPrO.VDF.NT] WELLI XGTOX, Monday The death lias occurred of Lady Fimllay, widow of the Into Sir John Findlny, a former Attorney-General of Now Zealand, aged 74. Lad.v Fimllay was horn at Palmerston, near Dunedin, and was before her marriage to Sir John Fimllay in 1889, Miss Aikle. During Sir John's life Lady Findlny was prominent in many political and social activities, but since his death in Finland in 1929 had retired from public life. She is survived by two sons, .Mr. J. W. Findlav. of, New York, and Wing-Connnander J. L. Findlny, of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

MRS. J. HALL [rnoM ouit own- cokkksponnknt] PUKEKOHE, Monday The dentil has occurred of Mrs. I'Vaneis Hall, wild of Mr. John Hall, of Pukckohe. Mrs. Hall was tho only daughter of Mr. W. Adams, of Kpuui Street, Wellington, anil the Into Mrs. Adams. She was horn in Wellington. Following lior marriage she lived at Ohiirti and Palinerston North. Ahont 20 vonrs ago site came to Pukekohe. Tho funeral, which look place at Puke* kolie to-day, was one of the largest, in tho district in recent years, several hundred people attending. Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband nntl one son.
