PROGRESS AT CAMBRIDGE ELECTION OF OFFICERS [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Monday Tho annual meeting of tho Cambridge Caledonian Society was held in the Town Hall, the chief, Mr. T. C. Wnllaco, presiding over a large attendance. The annual report stated that during the year tho club's membership had increased to IS9. The financial statement showed a healthy position, assets totalling £165. The following officers vrero elected: — Patrons, Messrs. J. C. Wallace and W. A. Fisher; chief, Mr. T. C. Wallace; chieftains, Messrs. .T. Dunning, R. D. Fisher and .T. A. Wallace; committee, Messrs. C. Bruce, J. Kerr, S. D. Low, D. McDonald, T. H. Wallace, W. C. Wallace, C. A. Watt and H. F. Williams; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. Kingsford; honorary auditor, Mr. Edgar James. Tho ladies' committee was re-elected.

FRANKLIN CALEDONIANS ANNUAL MEETING HELD [FROM OtTR OWN CORRESPONDENT] PUKEKOHE, Monday Tho Franklin Caledonian Society is now entering on its third year, for which officers have been elected as follows:—Chief, Mr. G. Craig; chieftains, Messrs. C. Blair, J. M. Bowman and W. Reid; secretary, Mr. D. Scott; assistant-secretary and programme organiser, Miss A. J. Robertson; general committee, Mrs. M. Sutton and Messrs. A. Why to, R. Johnstone, V. Harvey, W. Gee, P. Grubb, J. Rogers and A. Lowrie; ladies' committee, Mrs. R L. Johnston, Mrs. J. M. Bowman, Mrs. A. M. Rose and Mrs. R. Johnstone; piper, Mr. I. McLean; auditor, Mr. R. 1). Ward. Tho balance-shcot presented at the second annual meeting showed a credit balance of £35. .
