DOGS KILL KIWI
A kiwi was discovered by two Taumarunui residents while pig hunting in the Kurarau llanges. The bird was discovered by the dogs in some fern and beforo the hunters could rescuo it the kiwi was seriously injured. The men did what they could for tho bird, but its injuries proved fatal.
