UNUSUAL WEDDING
AMERICAN SWIMMER (Received August CO, 7 p.m.) ' NEW YORK, Aug. 10 The weH-known swimmer and film actor Johnny Weissrnuller, was married to-day to Miss Beryl Scott, aged 23, a San Francisco society girl, at 1.25 a.m. This unconventional hour was chosen because Weissrnuller is performing at the New York World's Fair. He obtained a divorce from Lupe Velez a few. days ago. 'The wedding was held at Garfield, New Jersey, two ceremonies being performed, one upstairs, by a clergyman to please the bride, and the other downstairs by the Mayor to please the newsreel photographers.
