RUSSIAN UNIVERSITIES
In a lecture on Russia at a meeting of the League of Nations Union, Mrs. Edith Bennett said that the abolition of University examinations and the practice of allowing students to criticise their professors was a temporary phase in educational experiments. In these respects conditions were now very similar to those elsewhere, the phase having passed.
