FRANKLIN COMMITTEE A district committee has been set up under tho Physical Welfare and Recreation Act, 1937, for tho Franklin County, and tho following members have been appointed by tho Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry:—Chairman: Mr. J. N. Massey; Messrs. M. J. Hatton, P. W. A. Peterson and W. ,J. Somrnervillo (representing tho Franklin County Council); Messrs. A. Best, A. B. Fordyce, D. .1. Graham, G. C. Revell and Mrs. M. H. McElwain.
