.Russia's,flying hospitals have proved a tremendous success, for" they have given urgent medical attention to thousands of patients in remote parts of the country. Sometimes, when* there is no landing place, the surgeons have to use parachutes to reach the sufferers In emergency cases antiseptics, surgical instruments and even blood for transfusion are dropped by' parachute.
