SKATING
An exciting hockey match on skates between teams representing Whangarei and Auckland will take place at the Glide Skating "Rink to-night. Patrons will bo further entertained hy the popular Glide Skating Ballet. Further details are advertised. Ideal conditions for skating will again rule at Skatewa.vs rink, Khvber Pass, to-night, when the floor will bo in perfect condition, while special holiday sessions have been arranged for children. An outstanding series of scenes has been arranged for next Wednesday night, when three ballets, a "talented sextet, a combination of child skaters and several other splendid items, including that of the midget skaters Sondra and Ramon, will combine in a spectacular entertainment.
