MOBRINSVILLE VALUES DAIRY CATTLE EASIER BACONERS MAKE TO £3/18/Tlie Farmers' Co-onerative Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports that at the Morrinsville isale there was a medium yarding of fat sheep, comprising mostly fat hoggets, for which late rates wore maintained, while a few pens of fat w'ethers sold readily. Cattle.—Thero was a full yarding of all classes. The offering of beef, which comprised fat cows and heifers, showed a sharp rise in value, with boner cows remaining firm at late rates. Satisfactory prices were realised for store cattle, including several pens of 6toro bullocks. Dairy cattle: There was again a large yarding, including many pens of heifers. Owing to adverse weather most of tho entry comprised imiall and backward sorts. Although a fair bench of buyers was present and any well-grown heifers were sought, generally speaking the tone of tho market was easier, and prices lower than last week's quotations. 'Die advertised herd of dairy cows, although not in tho best of condition, was more keenly sought, and realised satisfactory priceij. "Watts, of Kaitaia. The attendance was good and the bidding keen. Dairy cows sold at prices ranging from .CO to £8; two-year-old heifers, up to £7 15s; yearling heifers, up to £2 10a. Walter Wakelin reports a highly successful salo at Kanio, when a largo entry of pigs and a medium entry of dairy cattle met with a spirited demand.
