CAMP TRAGEDY
EXPLOSION OP SHELL . YOUNG MILITIAMEN'S FIND SIX KILLED, TWO WOUNDED (Received August 14, 5.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, Au(f. 14A group of young nrilitiameiTat Fort Knox, Kentucky, found an unexploded shell and carried it to their camp as a curio. There it exploded killing six and wounding two of the militiamen. Those killed were literally blown to bits. The commander said the young men had repeatedly been warned against the danger of picking up unexploded shells.
