PORT OF AUCKLAND MATUA FOR RAROTONGA ARRIVAL OF LARCHBANK ' Matun, Union • Company passenger motor-ship, at Central Wliarf, which lias been receiving survey and overhaul, will sail at five o'clock this afternoon for Rarotonga, Nukualofa, Vavau, Apia and Suva, beginning her summer schedule. She will return here on September 3 and proceed to Wellington. Maetsuycker, South Pacific Line motor-ship, at Prince's Wharf, is expected to leave at four o'clock this afternoon for Wellington, Sydney and the East. Fifteen passengers will embark here. Corilla, Shell Company motor-tanker, arrived yesterday morning from Singapore and berthed at Western Wharf. She should sail about Friday on her return to tho East. Larchbank, Bank Line motor-slup s und<?r charter to the_ British Phosphate Commission, will arrive earlv this morning from Ocean Island and berth later at King's Wharf. She will sail at tho end of the week for rMauru Island. / Hurunui, New Zealand Shipping Company steamer, on her first visit to Auckland for nearly three years, arrived yesterday morning from Liverpool,, via Panama, and herthed at Queen's Wharf. She is announced to sail on Saturday for Wellington. Fiona, Colonial Sugar Company steamer, discharging molasses from Suva at Chelsea, will probably sail this evening for Sydney. She is due here on September 2. NAIRNBANK FROM PERU \dvice has been received by Spedding, Limited, that the Bank Line motor-ship Nairnbank left Puerto Chicama, Peru, on July ''S with sugar for Auckland, where she is duo about Sunday. She will discharge -at Chelßea. RIMUTAKA FOR AUCKLAND The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rimutaka, leaving London on Thursday. will now make Auckland the first port of discharge instead of Wellington. She will arrive here on September 21 and complete at Wellington. THE EDWARD F. JOHNSON The Vacuum Oil Company's motor-tanker Edward F. Johnson, en route from San Francisco, has advised that she is being delayed bv rough weather, 1 and will be unable to advise her time of arrival until to-day. She should reach Auckland to-morrow. PAUA FOR HONGKONG The Shell Company's coastal motor-tanker Paua will leave New Zealand next month for Hongkong to be modernised. She will be lengthened by about 40ft and an additional tank added to the existing oil compartments. She is expected to return next January. ' MAUNGANUI RETURNING The Union Company's cruise steamer Maunganui will return at 7 a.m. to-morrow morning from Suva and berth at Central Wharf. She will sail at eight o'clock to-morrow night for Wellington, which she will clear, on Saturday afternoon for Sydney, relieving the Awalea. KARAMEA AT OPUA • The Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Karamea, from New Plymouth, berthed at Opua on Sunday afternoon to load the first shipment of produce from the pori since the end of June. She should sail to-morrow night for Auckland, where she is due on Thursday j morning.
