BALL AT TE AROHA
TURKEY SUPPER SERVED CATHOLIC SCHOOLS AIDED [by telegraph—own correspondent] • • , - TE AROHA, Monday The annual effort in the form of a, "Turkey Ball" to raise funds for the maintenance of the Te Aroha Catholic schools was a great success. More than 600 people were present, including visitors from all parts of the Auckland Prorince. The hall had been attractively decorated for the occasion with festoons of balloons and streamers, and the supper room was bright with spring flowers. A turkey supper was served in seven sittings by the ladies' committee headed by Mrs. F. Cronin. Mr. J. J. Shallue was in charge of the floor arrangements.
