LEADER ENTERTAINED WOMEN'S SECTION SOCIAL [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] "WELLINGTON, Monday The National Club -was decorated with large baskets of vivid Iceland poppies to-night when the women's section of the National Party held a. successful social, The guest of honour was the Leader, the Hon. A. Hamil--ton. Mrs. Hamilton was unable to be present owing to indisposition. A varied programme of vocal items, piano solos and competitions was appreciated. Mr. Hamilton was received by Mrs. G. F. Stone, president of the women's section, and Miss M. McGregor. Later, the gathering was addressed by Mr. Hamilton, who was accorded musical honours. A buffet supper was served, and the evening concluded with dancpresent included members of the women's section and of the National Party.
