FISHER DEFEATS BAKER [BY TKLEGRAPJI —PRESS ASSOCIATION] N INVERCARGILL, Sunday In a professional welter-weight boxing contest between Norman Fisher (Christchurch). IDst 31b, and Dick Baker (Invercargill), lOst lib, Fisher won on a technical knock-out after six rounds. Fisher opened an injury above Baker's left eye in tho third round and, after the sixth round; the doctor examined the injury and tho fight was then stopped. Fisher was well ahead on points
