DEMAND FOR WITHDRAWAL [by telegraph—rnnss association] v / NELSON, Friday A mass meeting of Nelson public servants, representing 16 departments, passed a motion emphatically protesting against the imposition by the Public Service Commissioner of the proposed efficiency tests for members of the service. and pledged, itself to support the Public Service Association executive in any action it deemed necessary to secure the withdrawal of the tests.
