GIRL GUIDES ASSEMBLE
JAMBOREE IN HUNGARY OPENING BY THE REGENT (Received July 31, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. July 30 The Regent of Hungary, Admiral Horthy, opened at Godollo the first world-wide Girl Guide jamboree, which will last a fortnight, says the Budapest correspondent of the Times.
There was an attendance of 4000 girls, of whom 500 were from various parts of the British Empire, including New Zealand and Australia. They were welcomed by the Archduchess Joseph Francis.
