ROTARY CLUB
THE WEEKLY LUNCHEON The defence of New Zealand was the subject of an address by Mr. H. E. Barrowclough at the weekly luncheon of the Auckland Rotary Club yesterday. The president, Mr. W. E. Lewisham, presided over a large attendance. The president announced that the All Australia Congress would be held from September 4 to September 8 in Sydney. Mr. J. Yock would attend the conference and it was hoped that others would he able to dojso. Congratulations were extended to Mr. A- J. Hutchinson on the new home for aged blind ladies being named in his honour. ''We congratulate you on the distinction you have so well earned," said Mr. Lewisham. The visitors included Messrs. S. Harmer (London), A. Wvlie (Whangarei) and R. S. Miller (Rotorua).
