FAREWELL DANCE
RUGBY LEAGUE PLAYERS
MEMBERS FROM AUCKLAND GAY SCENE AT CABARET A large and enthusiastic gathering of supporters and friends of the Auckland Rugby Football League was present at the Peter Pan Cabaret last night, when a farewell dance to the Auckland members of the New Zealand team who are leaving for England was given. The guests were received by the president, Mr. Ivan Culpan, and Mrs. Culpan, who wore a frock of black georgette and a white fur cape. Assisting them were members of the ladies' com;, mittee, comprising:—Mrs. A. Scott, in black marquisette; Mrs. It. Doble, in green floral georgette; Mrs. C. Howe, black sheer; Mrs. I. Stoncx, black angelskin lace; Mrs. T. Chermsido, azure blue silk voile.
