SMOTHERED IN SLEEP
MAORI BABY'S DEATH [by telegraph—own correspondent] THAMES Monday A Maori infant, John Kati, aged three weeks, was found dead in bed yesterday morning at the home of its parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peihana Kati, of Warahoe. An inquest was held before the district coroner, Mr. W. Bongard, who returned a verdict of accidental death as a result of being smothered during sleep.
