Taking about 170 passengers, she will sail at four o'clock on Thursday afternoon I'or Sydney and Melbourne. Gamaria, British India steamer, from Calcutta, via Sydney, arrived yesterday morning and berthed at Prince's Whari to discharge military aeroplanes. She is announced to sail to-night lor Newcastle. Wireless advice from the Union Company s steamer Kiwitea states that she will from Westport at 7.30 this morning. She will berth at Chelsea. Arriving earlv this morning from Neivcastle via Sydney, the Union Company s steamer Kairanga will anchor and berth later at King's Wharf. The motor-vessel Margaret W. went on the Harbour Board slipway yesterday. She will return to-day to Kings A\ harf and sail later for the East Coast. The Nobel Explosives Company's auxiliary schooner Piri, which has been receiving survey and overhaul at Auckland, made adjustments at the compass dolphin yesterday. The Union Company's steamer Kaiwarra. discharging Australian cargo, will move this morning from Queen's Wharf to Western Wharf. She is expected to complete on Friday. The Richardson Line motor-ship Kopara will arrive this morning from Port!and and after fuelling at Western Wharf,, will berth at King's Wharf, sailing later in the d.ij for the East Coast. Tho Auckland Harbour Board tug William C Daldy, which has been receiving overhaul, left Calliope Dock yesterday afternoon and berthed at the dock wharf. She «ill 11 moved this morning to Hobson \v harf. THE EMPIRE STAR The Blue Star motor-ship Empire Star, at Prince's Wharf, will sail, at noon to-morrow for London, via Cape Horn. AURETTA'S DISCHARGE The British steamer Auretta, discharging phosphate from Nauru Island at King s Wharf, is expected to sail to-morrow for wanganui. THE PORT HALIFAX The M.A.N.Z. Line motor-ship Port Halifax, discharging eastern Canada cargo at King's Wharf, will sail to-morrow afternoon for Wellington. THE PORT DUNEDIN The Port Line motor-ship Port Dunedin will leave Bluff for Auckland at 3 p.m. tomorrow, arriving on Friday night to continue loading for London. THE WAIRANGI LATER Delaved in the south, the Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Wairangi will now arrive here from Gisborne on Saturday morning. She will sail for London, via Cape Horn, next Tuesday. ANTONIO WITH SULPHUR The British steamer Antonio was scheduled to leave Freeport, Texas, at the week-end with sulphur for Auckland, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wanganui. She is due here about the middle of August. RANGITIKI TO SAIL To complete loading., the New Zealand Shipping Company's limrr Rangitiki, at Central Wharf, will sail this, afternoon for Napier and Wellington. She will leave Wellington for London, via Panama, on July 27. THE TANKER BULYSSES The Shell Company's motor-tanker Bulysses, from Wellington, berthed yesterday morning at Western Wharf to complete discharge of fuel oil from Batik Papan. She will sail for Balik Papan to-morrow morning. TEKOA COMPLETING Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tekoa is completing loading at Central Wharf and is expected to sail for London and West Coast ports of Britain, via Panama, on Thursday morning. REMUERA LEAVES LONDON Cabled advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping .Company that its liner Remuera left London on Thursday for Suva, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and Timaru. She is due at Wellington on August 26 to land passengers only. SALE OF AMBASSADOR The steamer Ambassador, which visited Auckland last March, has been sold to British buyers for about £-10,500. Of 4-150 tons gross, tho Ambassador was built at Stockton in 1925 and was owned by Hall Brothers, of Newcastle-on-Tyne. OTAIO REPLACED The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-ship Otaio, leaving Liverpool for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff on August 12, has been replaced by the Federal Line steamer Northumberland, which is due here about September 21. KAITUNA'S PROGRESS Cabled advice has been received that tho New Zealand Shipping Company's new motorship Kaituna, running under the A. and A. Line, left Philadelphia on June 30, New York on July 9 and Newport News on July .11 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is duo here about August 10. DUDER SPIT BUOY Tho Auckland Harbour Board advises that the lighted buoy which has been marking tho north-west corner of tho Dudcr Spit has been moved approximately half-a-mile further to tho north-west •in a position 2S9>£dcg 4200 ft, from Rangitoto beacon and that an unlighted black can ■ buoy has replaced tho lighted buoy on the end of Dudcr Spit.
