FANCY DRESS PARTY
GIRL GUIDES AND BROWNIES A children's fancy dress party was hold hy the Point Chevalier Girl Guide and Brownie Pack in Armstrong's Hall on Saturday evening. There was a largo attendance of parents and children, and dancing, games, competitions and community singing were enjoyed. The arrangements for the party wore in the charge of the guide captain, Miss Capper, the brownie captain, Mrs. Adams, and the master oi ceremonies, Mr. M. Mathison. Supper was served bv a party of guide parents and friends. The grand march was n delightful scene in which 50 children in plain and fancy costumes took part. Miss R. McAneanev was judge and Mrs. McKenzic provided music. Prize winners were:—Shirley Jenkin, Marjory Edgar, Doris Carpenter, Shirley Giover, Dorothy Glover, Violet Banks, Valeric Saunders, Phyllis Kenny, Avis Jenkin, Loma Willetts, Walter Saunders.
