NEW LYNN SUB-CENTRE A very pleasant ceremony took place in the Congregational Hall, New Lynn, when Dr. Carew, the class lecturer for first aid, announced tho results of his written examination. He said the work was of a high standard, and thanked the class for their attention and interest at lectures. Dr. Carew made a presentation to Miss C. Welsh, Mrs. Fyfe and Mrs. James, and congratulated them on tho high marks attained. Mrs. S. George, chairman, on behalf of tho class, thanked Dr. Carew and 31 iss Stratton, bandaging instructress, for their services and generosity, and presented to each a token of esteem. Tho society also held an examination for certificates, supervised by Dr. H. Petit.
