EDENDALE BEATS WAIKATO The Waikato representative basketball team was defeated by Edendale on Saturday afternoon by 10 goals to 13. A largo attendance witnessed a fast and open game. At half-time Edendale was leading by 10 goals to S. In spite of the difference in scores tho teams were evenly matched. The main factor In Edendale s win was the excellent form shown by the .New Zealand representative Miss M. Tangye. Playing opposite Miss Tangye was Miss L. Benton, a former Auckland representative. Misses D, Clements, M. Boyes and M. Pollard played well for Waikato, Miss Clements in particular producing good form.
