JHE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE DULL AND WEAKER TONE Business was practically at a standstill at the single call 011 the Auckland Stock Exchange 011 Saturday. There was only fairly scattered interest, and a slightly 'weaker trend was evident, particularly in overseas issues. Banks and insurances were steady at late rates and the other classified industrials wore dull. Auckland Gas were marked down in dealing. There was an all-round decline in offers for Australian industrials following steady firming during last week. New Zealand scrip was quiet and fairly steaelv.
