ENJOYABLE MEET , SEVERAL EXCELLENT RUNS LARGE FIELD OF RIDERS Although the going was soft in places after the recent rain, an enjoyable outing resulted from the meet of the Pakuranga Hunt on Saturday, several good runs being obtained. The meet, which was held at the Pakuranga Mall, attracted a large number of followers. The hounds threw off in one of Mr. A. Trousdale's paddocks and worked through to the property of Mr. il. Fitzgerald's property and then passing on to that of Mr. F. Roberts, finally circling back to where it was first put lip. It then inade for the main road again, where the scent ,was lost. A move was then made to the farm of Mr. A. Bell, where a strong hare was found near the creek. This made a circle of the property, ran across to Mr. Lucas' farm and then made straight for the main road, which was crossed in the direction of Mr. J'\ Robert's property. After going wide round Hyde Park, the hare crossed to Mr. R. Thompson's, followed the salt water creek around Mr, J. Gill's farm, crossed Mr. F.
