RECRUITING APPEAL
RESPONSE IN HAMILTON [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday "I am very gratified at the response so far." said Captain G. A. Pilcher, recruiting officer for the Northern Military District, when commenting on the enrolments .received in Hamilton for the' territorial forces since the Mayor Mr. H. D. Caro, opened his appeal on Thursday night. .Since the campaign commenced, 7V have volunteered for the territorials, and 2.'} have offered their services for the National Military Reserve. The 'object of the campaign is to secure .300 recruits.
