FRONTIERSMEN MEET
HAMILTON BRANCH FORMED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday The inauguration of the Hamilton branch of the Legion of Frontiersmen was held at Pearson's Hall, Hamilton East, last night, the meeting being attended by officers and members of A Squadron, Auckland, under the command of Captain H. S. Parsons and Lieutenant R. Ei Taylor. .Representatives of the legion from 0 Squadron. Otorohanga, To Arolia, Te Kuiti, Tnuranga and To Awamutu, were also present. More than 20 members were admitted to the Hamilton troop, Lieutenant Iv. P. Blair being elected to the command. The new troop had its first church parade at' St. Peter's Cathedral this morning, members of the troop and visiting squadrons marching up Victoria Street, led by tho Hamilton Pipe Band. The parade was under the command of Captain Parsons. The preacher was the Dean of Hamilton, the Very Hcv. T. P. Weathcrhog.
