TERRIFIC BLAST MAGAZINE EXPLODES HUNDREDS OF VICTIMS TRAIN DISAPPEARS By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright, (Received July 10, 10.15 p.m.) LONDON, July 10 Eighty persons are so far known to have been killed and 200 injured by the terrific explosion of a powder magazine at Penaramla de Bracamonte, in Salamanca Province, Central Spain. Firemen from a dozen cities, including Madrid, 100 miles distant, arc fighting to save the town from the flames. The entire population of 5000 has been evacuated, and is camping; in the countryside. The force of the explosion was felt 30 miles away, and people in a neighbouring town were injured. There is no trace of the Civil Guards and members of the railway staff who were at the station, which is near the magazine, at the time of the explosion. Similarly an entire train, with passengers and crew, which was approaching the station, has completely disappeared.
