Mrs. J. H. Crisp, of Wellingon, is spending three weeks with her mother, Mrs. Samuel, Ayr Street, Parnell.
Mrs. George Gilchrist, of Te Aroha, is visiting her mother, Mrs. J. A. Slater, of Epsom Avenue, Auckland.
Miss Joselyn Miller, of Kawakawa, Bay of Islands, has returned home after spending the week-end in Auckland.
Lady Myers, who lias been in Auckland for some months, will be a passenger by the Monowai to-morrow for Vancouver.
Miss M. Harty and Miss L. Tuphope, of Tauranga, left on Friday for Sydney, where they will join the Nieuw Zeeland for Singapore.
Mrs. F. H. Campbell, of Arney Boad, Bemuera, will leave this morning for North Auckland, where she will spend the next two weeks.
Mrs. Jack Ashcroft, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. G. Shera, of Wharau Boad, Bemuera, has returned to her homo in Te Aroha.
Miss Roma Drake, of St. Heliers, will leave on July 24 on a trip to Fiji. While in Suva she will be the guest of Mrs. W. Grainger-Johnson.
Mrs. W. L. Fitzherbert, of Palmerston North, who has been the guest of Mrs. James Henderson, of Victoria Avenue, Bemuera. has returned home.
Mrs. Dewes, of Oraahu, Thames, is spending a holiday in Auckland and is at present-the guest of Miss Gertrude Kempthorne, Cathedral Place, Parnell.
Mrs. John Millward, of St. John's Hill, Wanganui, who has been the guest of Mrs. Huthwaite Ronaldson, of Portland Boad, Remuera, has returned home.
Mrs. A. Grenier, who has been spending the Inst four months at Biltmore House, Remuera, will leave during the week for her home in Kuala Lumpar, Malay States.
Mrs. K. Creaghe, of Grange Road, Mount Eden, left by the Mariposa on Friday evening 011 a visit to her daughter, Miss Molly Creaghe, who is now living in Sydney. She expects to be away three months.
Miss Natalie Allan, of North Auckland. who has been spending a short holiday as the guest of Miss Jean Horsley, of Symonds Street, will stay
this week with her aunt, Mrs. J. C Allan, of Shortland Flats.
The fortnightly card and mah jong afternoon held under the auspices of the women's branch of the New Zealand Labour Party took place at Mount Albert last week. The prize-winners were Mrs. Kiddev, Miss Jamieson and Mrs. MacCormack.
Mrs. Robert Buchanan, of Quadrant Road. Onehunga. who has been vistiing Vancouver, Victoria, 8.C., Seattle and Portland, Oregon, reached San Francisco on June 24 after touring California. She will join the Mariposa at Los Angeles 011 August 15 to return to Auckland.
