Sunday The-New Zealand Gun Club championships" were continued in unfavourable weather yesterday, when the Dominion clay target titles wcro decided. Theie were 102 competitors, this number being a record for New Zealand: In the trap shooting no possibles were recorded in shooting, at 21 targets, but the - following broke 20 birds:—D. AV. Davison (Culverden), T. L. Joblin (iloreri), F. E. Cox (Taumarnui) C. Wittier (Morrinsville).' Theso four divided the prize-money of -CG7 10s, and shot off for (ho championship at : five birds. Davison was the only ono to break ' fivo birds and ho secured tho title and trophy. Cox was runner-up. Tho Hon. W. E. Parry, who was a com-' petitor, presented the prizes. MEETING OF ASSOCIATION . I [by telegraph—PßESS association] : 'i WANGANUI, Sunday Tho annual meeting of the New Zealand Gun Clubs' Association was held last evening, when the following officers were elected: —President, Mr. R. S. Taylor (Christchurch); North Island referee, Mr. W. "Woolven (Hamilton); South Island referee." Mr. L. A. ShanJ (Christchnrch); North Island vice-president, Mr, H. Quart erman (Wanganui): Soath Island vice-president, Mr. I. G. Watkins (Eangiara). ,-pS Next year's championships wero allotted to the Christchurch Gun Club.
