NORTHERN. CHINA GUERILLA FORCES ACTIVE MANY JAPANESE WOUNDED (Received July 2, 0.10 p.m.) PKKTXG, July 2 Twenty-five thousand men are stated to have been involved in a week s hattle between Japanese regulars and Chinese guerillas east, of Tinghsicn, on the Kinghan railway. Streams of Japanese wounded are pouring back from the battle line. Guerilla fighters are busy on railway lines in the Peking area. Travellers state that there were two train wrecks last week. The Chinese launched nn offensive from the'north toward Canton, simultaneously capturing Sinkai, Lientang and Kwentang. Air fighting continues.
