FOOTBALLER'S DEATH
INJURY DURING MATCH COLLAPSE IN HOSPITAL YOUNG CANTERBURY PLAYER [nr TELEGItArn —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] ASHBURTON, Sunday As a result of an injury received while playing football at Hinds, Colin Dellow, aged 16, whose parents reside at May field, was admitted to hospital; where he collapsed and died before receiving attention. Artificial respiration proved unavailing.
CASE OF CONCUSSION MEMBER OF PONSONBY TEAM While playing second-grade Rupby for Ponsonby on Saturday, Mr. Norman Vincent Payne, a cleaner employed ? the Railways Department, aged 20, o 44 Hay den' Street, received an injury which necessitated his admission to t ie Auckland Hospital.
