TE PUKE MILITARY BALL
DEBUTANTES PRESENTED Visitors were present from Rotorua, Opotiki, Tauranga. Ohaupo, Waimana, Whakatane and Kaipara Flats at. the military ball held in the Capitol Theatre last week. The, presentation of eight debutantes added interest to the function. They wore presented by Mrs. T. L. Stanton, of Taneatua, to Lieutenant-Colonel L. Potter and Mrs. Potter, who was wearing a frock of black sequinncd taffetas. Mrs. Stanton was in blue velvet with a red shoulder spray. The debutantes were Miss Breilda Mossop. wearing whito net over satin; Miss Ivy Lees, in whito not; Miss Jessie Patterson, ivory satin; Miss Sylvia Spratt, ivory tulle and satin; Miss June McCracken, white satin; Miss Cliristofferson, white taffetas; Miss Isabel Taylor, embossed satin: Miss Winnie White, net and spotted organdie.
