RED CROSS SOCIETY
HELP IN CANCER CAMPAIGN Thanks for the prominent part it took in the F-mpire Day street collections in aid of funds for the establishment in Auckland ot the Cancer Statistical Research Department have been received by the Auckland centre of the Red Cross Society from the Mayor of Auckland, Sir Ernest Davis. The Mayor, who tendered his thanks also as president of the British Empire Campaign Society, wrote that the highly successful results of the appeal were doe in no small measure to the eo-oneration so willingly given. He would like the Red Cross Society and its members to know how fully he appreciated their valuable help.
