LIFE IN EGYPT
LECTURE AT THE MUSEUM POPULAR SERIES CONTINUED The popularity of Sunday afternoon lectures at the Auckland .Museum was again illustrated yesterday, when about 250 i>eople assembled in the museum hall to hear an address entitled "Life in Egypt" by Mr. O. GoreAdams. Mr. C. I\. Ford, president of the Auckland lnstituto and Museum, was chairman.
Illustrating his address with lantern slides, .Mr. Gore-Adams dealt with Kgvpt. both ot ancient times and of loday. His remarks concerning modern Kgvpt were particularly interesting, as they constituted impressions gathered during 20 years' residence in the country. The speaker was warmly applauded at the conclusion.
