TAURANGA POWER
[BY TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAURANGA, Sunday A total of 48 applications for supply from all parts of the district was approved at the monthly meeting of the Tauranga Electric-Power Board. Extensions were approved to the Matapihi, Kaitemaka and Athenrce districts. The engineer, Mr. J. R. Bongard, reported that a new extension had been erected in the To Puna district. His report showed a marked increase in load connected during May.
