McLagan, stated that inlormation from tho Nightcaps Miners' Union shows that GO men were put off by the Mossbank Con I Company, Nightcaps. It was true, said Mr. McLagan, that part of the mine had been flooded, but approximately 30 men were put off in another part of tlie mine which was not Hooded.
"The position to-day is that at least 35 miners are unemployed in the Nightcaps district and are vainly looking for work in tho Nightcaps mines." added Mr. McLagan.
