THE BISHOP AND ELLEN
Ellen Wamsle.v lives in Guernsey. She is 21 and is unlikely ever to leave her bed again, as she suffers from paralysis. But she wished to ho confirmed, and the other day the Bishop of Winchester climbed 99 steps to Ellen's bedroom, where ho conducted a confirmation service for this brave and happy girl. Very thankful Avas Ellen; and very proud that tho bishop should visit her and give her a prayer book with his narno in.
