Children on Stamps
New Issue for Jugoslavia By RONALD YOUNGER To-dav I want to tell you about four new stamps from Yugoslavia which all young stamp collectors will be anxious to add to their albums. The stamp shown in the illustration here is the $ dinar value, and i s printed ; in chocolate. < It shows portraits of three ' girls, one of ; whom is holding a spray of 1o a v es. In exactly the same design is the value, printed in scarlet. The other values are 'ld (myrtle green), and 2d (magenta), and the design used for them shows a happy picturo of a little boy. The stamps all bear a special surtax equal in each case to their postal value. The money thus raised will be given to child welfare organisations in Jugoslavia. The stamps are very attractively produced bv photogravure.
